“Kanita Sartwattayu” takes helm as PTTEP CEO Continuing energy security mission and driving long-term growth

Bangkok, 1 October 2026 – “Kanita Sartwattayu” outlined her vision as she assumed the role of PTTEP Chief Executive Officer, with a focus on continuing the company’s mission to reinforce Thailand’s energy security to meet rising energy demand, while pursuing international growth and enhancing organizational capabilities to support sustainable, long-term growth.
Ms. Kanita Sartwattayu, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), said upon assuming the role on October 1, 2026, that she will continue to steer the company in line with its strategy for sustainable growth. She will remain focused on strengthening Thailand’s energy security through reliable petroleum production to support the country’s development and everyday energy needs, while pursuing disciplined international growth, particularly in strategic investment areas, to strengthen the foundation for PTTEP’s future.
In managing the organization, Ms. Kanita will focus on embedding sustainability across PTTEP’s operations, enhancing organizational capabilities and creating value for all stakeholders, while advancing the company toward its Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions target by 2050. She will also concentrate on preparing the organization to navigate changes in the energy industry by leveraging digital technologies and AI to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness. Equally important is investing in PTTEP’s people, building the next generation of leaders and fostering an organizational culture that will be instrumental in building a resilient and sustainable organization.
“Reliable petroleum production to meet Thailand’s energy demand remains a key priority for PTTEP, and we are firmly committed to carrying this mission forward. Looking ahead, we will continue to drive growth internationally through strategic investment, while building organizational capabilities and developing our people to navigate a changing energy landscape. Digital technologies and AI will play an important role in enhancing our capabilities, improving operational efficiency and managing costs, enabling PTTEP to grow sustainably and remain competitive over the long term,” Ms. Kanita said.
Ms. Kanita brings more than 30 years of experience in the petroleum exploration and production business and has played a key role in driving PTTEP’s business and shaping the company’s efforts to strengthen Thailand’s energy security. Her contributions include advancing the development of three strategic gas corridors spanning the Gulf of Thailand, the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) and Myanmar, as well as ramping up natural gas production from projects in the Gulf of Thailand and onshore fields, helping mitigate the impact of domestic energy price volatility amid global geopolitical tensions. She has also helped shape and drive PTTEP’s efforts toward its Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions target by 2050, establishing a systematic approach to emissions reduction while promoting the adoption of appropriate technologies, including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). Ms. Kanita also played a key role in advancing the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Arthit CCS Project, the first of its kind in Thailand.
