In late 2024, PTTEP participated in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), one of the world’s largest and most influential energy events. Held from November 4 to 7, 2024, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under the theme “Connecting Minds, Transforming Energy”, ADIPEC brought together over 2,200 leading energy companies and more than 185,000 attendees, making it a vital platform for shaping the future of the global energy sector.

During the conference, PTTEP showcased its latest advancements in energy solutions, developed in collaboration with partners to enhance operational efficiency and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Highlights included:

• Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS): An innovative technology that permanently stores carbon dioxide in underground rock formations.
• Lan Sang Arun Solar Power Project: Located within the S1 Project in Lan Krabue District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, this project marks Thailand’s first use of clean energy to support petroleum production activities.
• DigitalX: A digital innovation initiative designed to enhance operational efficiency, minimize time, and reduce costs.
• Subsea Robotic Ecosystem: Technologies showcased included: XPLORER: An autonomous underwater vehicle for subsea pipeline and infrastructure inspection, XGATEWAY: An autonomous surface vessel, XSPECTOR: A cloud-based data management system that enables real-time inspection, maintenance, and management (IRM) reporting via web applications.

Moreover, PTTEP was honored to welcome H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates and ADNOC Group CEO; H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE; H.E. Miss Nipa Nirannoot, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai; and other distinguished dignitaries. They were warmly received by PTTEP CEO Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul and senior executives.

At ADIPEC 2024, Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, CEO of PTTEP, also engaged in high-level discussions with global energy leaders, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to balancing energy security with sustainability, and global collaboration. The event provided an excellent opportunity for PTTEP to showcase its technologies and strengthen partnerships with industry leaders worldwide.
