PTTEP hosted OpEx Day 2025 on 8 July 2025 in Bangkok to reaffirm its strong commitment to Operational Excellence. Under the theme “Driving PTTEP’s Strategy Toward a Sustainable Future”, the event brought together distinguished leaders from various industries who shared valuable perspectives and experiences - inspiring employees to continue improving and innovating together.

A Lineup of Visionary Leaders

The day began with Opening Remarks by Mr. Chayong Borisuitsawat, Executive Vice President, Domestic Production Asset Group, PTTEP, followed by the official Opening Ceremony.

A major highlight was the Keynote Address delivered by Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited. He spoke on the topic “Driving PTT Group’s OpEx Toward a Sustainable Future”, emphasizing collaboration within the PTT Group toward Operational Excellence.

This was followed by a compelling Expert Talk titled “Pathway to Excellence” by Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Group CEO of WHA Corporation PCL, who shared real-world strategies to drive growth and competitiveness.

Insights from Industry Leaders

The event concluded with an engaging panel session titled “Key Success Factors in Business Excellence”, featuring distinguished business leaders from various industries, namely: Ms. Supaluck Umpujh, Chairwoman of the Executive Committee, The Mall Group; Dr. Teeradetch Tungsubutra, Former CEO, Ritta; and Dr. Eng. Siripong Jungthawan, LEAN Master, Doing Less Getting More Co., Ltd. The panel discussed diverse perspectives on leadership vision, innovation, and people-centric strategies for sustainable success.

The event also featured an overview of PTTEP’s Operational Excellence, Continuous Performance Improvement, and benchmarking to maintain top-quartile performance including showcasing award-winning projects and best practices across PTTEP’s operations. Key highlights included:

• GoT SAVE (Gulf of Thailand Synergy Aspiration for Value Enhancement) – Unit cost enhancement to maintain competitiveness and support PTT Group’s EBITDA uplift target
• Topside and Jacket Reuse – Repurposing pre-used offshore platforms to lower costs and optimize resource utilization
• Low-BTU Flare Innovation – Minimizing greenhouse gas emissions in petroleum production
• Wave Energy Study – a pioneering study into the use of wave energy converters to provide renewable power for offshore platforms
• Rigs-to-Reefs – a marine conservation initiative that transforms decommissioned jackets into artificial reefs
• AI for Procurement Excellence – Accelerating procurement cycles with enhanced accuracy and greater efficiency
• SAND CLEAR – a fully automated, in-house developed sand erosion management system to enhance safety
