PTTEP supports YRAT with 15 million baht for the ninth consecutive year to enhance Thai sailing athletes’ capabilities
Ms. Kanita Sartwattayu (5th from left), CEO Designate and Acting Executive Vice President, Strategy, Business Development, and Human Resources Group of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) together with PTTEP executives, presented 15 million baht in support to the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand (YRAT) for the ninth consecutive year. Admiral Pairote Fuangchan (center), Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and President of the YRAT received the contribution, which aims to enhance the capabilities of Thai sailing athletes for international competitions. The handover ceremony was recently held at the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters at Phra Racha Wang Derm, Bangkok.
Since 2006, PTTEP has been supporting YRAT by developing and promoting the capability of the sailing athletes in the international competitions, providing professional foreign coaches to share advanced techniques, supplying training and racing equipment, as well as sponsoring major international sailing competitions.
