PTTEP, in cooperation with KhaoYai National Park, the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, the Office of Basic Education Commission, the Department of Children and Youth and the Foundation for Khao Yai National Park Protection, have agreed to jointly organize ‘PTTEP Teenergy’ for the second consecutive year. The project encourages high school students nationwide to engage in natural conservation activities. The 60 youths will be selected to join activities at Khao Yai National Park--a part of the Dong Phayayen-Khao YaiForest Complex.        The activities will take place during the school semester break in October this year.

“Our goals are to educate youth and involve them in conserving the natural environment as they will be the future power in creating benefits for Thai society. The learning process gained through the Teenergy Camp activities will create awareness and get them involved in the conservation of the country’s natural resources and environment.” Mr. Phongsthorn said.

“PTTEP Teenergy” is one of PTTEP’s projects that provide an opportunity for young people to experience the value of Thailand’s natural heritage via learning materials which have been developed by PTTEP in conjunction with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation under the PTTEP Thai Heritage World Heritage Project since 2006.
