PTTEP joins the Marine Department to organize training and workshop in Songkhla, Enhancing its readiness for emergency response

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) and PTTEP Energy Development Limited (PTTEP ED) joined The Marine Department to organize Oil Spill Preparedness & Response Training and Workshop in Songkhla province after the 1st session of training and workshop was organized in Bangkok late last year.

The activity is aimed at enhancing readiness and response capabilities and increasing knowledge to both public and private sector organizations involved to efficiently respond to emergency situations. This also prepares their readiness for the upcoming 13th Thailand Oil and Chemical Spill Response Exercise (TOC-Ex13), scheduled for mid-2024.

The training was attended by approximately 100 participants from various government and private agencies in the eastern coast of southern region such as Thailand Maritime Enforcement Coordinating Center (Thai-MECC), the Royal Thai Navy, The Department of Mineral Fuels, The Pollution Control Department, The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and The Oil Industry Environmental Safety Group Association (IESG), etc.
