Sustainable E&P Business Strategy

  • Create added value from existing assets with an emphasis on the production volume of key assets while also accelerate the development of major overseas projects to ensure timely production start-ups
  • Continually maintain production cost at a competitive level through digital technology and enhanced operational efficiency
  • Efficiently operate Bongkot, Erawan and new fields acquired in the transitional period
  • Emphasize investment in Thailand, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. (Coming-Home Strategy)
  • Drive LNG value chain with a focus on upstream and liquefaction plants
  • Explore investment opportunities with experienced partners (Strategic Alliance)

Diversification to Beyond E&P Strategy

  • Build superior growth for AI and Robotics Ventures (ARV) by accelerating Go-to-Market activities
  • Seek opportunities in Power Business – Gas to Power, LNG to Power and Renewable Energy
  • Explore new business opportunities from In-house Technology Commercialization
  • Build Future Energy portfolio focusing on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and Hydrogen

Greenhouse Gas Management Strategy

PTTEP has focused its attention on greenhouse gas management to minimize the impacts from global warming and climate change which is considered as national and global issues that need immediate actions. In addition, to support Thailand’s goals to achieve Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions as committed at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), the Company has set the target to achieve Net Zero GHG Emissions by 2050 for E&P business covering scope 1 and scope 2 under PTTEP’s operational control through “EP Net Zero 2050” pathway. PTTEP also set the targets of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 30% by 2030 and 50% by 2040 from 2020 base year.
