PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), represented by Mr. Kavin Wattanachanya (Center) Acting Vice President, Petroleum Development Support Base and Mrs. Lawan Pornsakulsakdi (1^st from left), Vice President, Environment Management Department, received the 2020 LESS Award Letter of Recognition from Mr.Jatuporn Buruspat (1^st from right), Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The award recognized PTTEP’s contribution to Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO)’s Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) which PTTEP reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 340,310 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalents at PTTEP Headquarters and its Petroleum Development Support Base in Songkla and Ranong. The greenhouse gas reduction activities include solar power utilization, LED lighting upgrades, lights off during lunch hour and waste separation for recycling.

The award presentation was held as part of the “Roi Duang Jai Ruam Jai Lod Lok Ron” event at The Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok Thailand.
