PTTEP-ARV and Mae Fah Luang Foundation to collaborate on preserving community forests, supporting Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions goals

Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul (3rd from left), Chief Executive Officer, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding with M.L. Dispanadda Diskul (2nd from left), Chief Executive Officer of Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage, and Mr. Thana Slanvetpan (3rd from right), General Manager of AI and Robotics Ventures Company Limited, PTTEP’s subsidiary, to increase carbon dioxide absorption rate of community forests. Under the MoU, the involved parties will support community engagement in preserving and restoring forest areas, while using technology to collect data for forestation carbon credit assessment.
The collaboration is aimed to support PTTEP in achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2050 as well as Thailand’s goal of Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065. The signing ceremony is organized recently at PTTEP’s Headquarters, Bangkok.
