PTTEP and HII signs MOU to develop the Ocean Data Platform and ensure sustainable marine resources

Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul (2nd from right), Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) and Dr. Sutat Weesakul (2nd from left), Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) (HII), signed the MOU for the development of the Ocean Data Platform. The platform serves as a hub to collect, exchange and connect the ocean database where it could be utilized and provide benefits for the environment and the public. This is in line with PTTEP's "Ocean for Life" strategy to ensure sustainable marine ecosystems and marine socio-economic development. The MOU signing ceremony was recently held at Energy Complex, Bangkok.
This collaboration will enhance ocean sustainability in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 14: Life Below Water). It also supports Thailand's Ocean Health Index (OHI)
