Subject:           Notification of the plans to repurchase US$ denominated securities and raise funds by issuing new US$ denominated securities of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited's group 

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) hereby informs you that PTTEP plans to implement a liability management exercise for its group companies with respect to US$ denominated debts to ensure efficiency in financial management and in response to the current market conditions. Details of the plans are follows:

1. making an offer to repurchase the US$1,000,000,000 Subordinated Perpetual Capital Securities, which were previously offered to investors offshore and issued by PTTEP on 18 June 2014 and currently listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) in Singapore; and
2. general funds raising which includes a funds raising by PTTEP Treasury Center Company Limited (PTTEP Treasury Center), in its capacity as a treasury center and international headquarter of companies within the PTTEP group, by way of issuing new US$ denominated subordinated perpetual capital securities guaranteed by PTTEP. The proceeds from the issuance of such new securities will be used for general corporate purposes, including, but not limited to, on-lending to entities within PTTEP group.

PTTEP expects that the repurchase (as set forth in 1 above) will be completed within July 2017. PTTEP will further notify you of the result of the repurchase and the progress of the funds raising plan of PTTEP Treasury Center.
