Mr. Kanit Sangwongwanich, Executive Vice President for Engineering and Development Group, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Makoto Ichikawa, Executive Director, Member of the Board, Oil and Gas Upstream Technology Unit, Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), for Cooperation in Research and Technology Development in the oil and gas business, aiming at improving production efficiency of PTTEP’s exploration and production projects.

Under this MOU, the development of Electromagnetic to monitor the underground water movement in oil production will the first project for both companies to consider R&D. The MoU signing ceremony took place in Tokyo, Japan.
