PTTEP set up fact-finding committee to investigate the procurement with Rolls-Royce

As stated by the media regarding Rolls-Royce’s bribery charges, which allegedly involved officials at state-owned oil and gas companies in many countries including Thailand during 2000 to 2013.

Somporn Vongvuthipornchai, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) revealed that the Company has immediately set up the fact-finding committee to investigate the procurement of equipment and service with Rolls-Royce during that period. The result of the investigation would be reported to the Board of Directors within 30 days and the Company will inform the progress in due course.

“PTTEP is committed to seriously carry out the investigation, in compliance with good corporate governance and business ethics,” said Somporn.
