PTTEP receives 2018 LESS Award Letter of Recognition from TGO

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), represented by Lawan Pornsakulsakdi (second left), Vice President, Environment Management Department, and Prapon Charusalaipong (far right), Vice President, Petroleum Development Support Base, received the 2018 LESS Award Letter of Recognition from General Surasak Karnjanarat (second right), Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. The award recognized PTTEP’s contribution to Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO)’s Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) under which PTTEP reduced 413,723 tons of greenhouse gas emissions by implementing seven initiatives including solar power, LED lighting upgrades, lights off during lunch hour and waste separation for recycling at PTTEP Headquarters and its Petroleum Development Support Base in Songkla.

The award presentation was held as part of the “Roi Duang Jai Ruam Jai Lod Lok Ron” event at Centara Grand Hotel, Bangkok Thailand.
