Parasite-Free School Program Wins Bronze Stevie Award

The "Parasite-Free School Program", one of PTTEPI CSR programs, received the Bronze Stevie Award in the Innovation in Community Relations category from the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards Program to recognize the dedication of PTTEP to the healthcare development in Myanmar.

 Partnering with Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE), PTTEP develops and operates the Zawtika natural gas pipeline in the Kanbauk area, where the Parasite-Free School Program" is created to help students in 35 schools in 28 villages. The initiative is aimed at the reduction of abdominal parasitic infections in students. Established in 2009, over 6,000 students in these areas gained the first-hand health information to improve their daily life hygiene.

"This achievement demonstrates PTTEPI's dedication to operating with strong principles of corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance," said Waranon Laprabang, Senior Vice President, Myanmar Asset (PMM).
