Phongsthorn Thavisin (right), President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), received the winning award for state enterprise sector as a 2019 Role Model Organization on Human Rights from the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice. The award was presented by Somsak Thepsutin (left), Minister of Justice, which the awarding ceremony recently held at Impact Muang Thong Thani.

PTTEP is one of three organizations that were honored with the award. It has been evaluated in accordance with criteria from the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which recognizes organizations that have established guidelines for preventing human rights violations, instilled an awareness and responsibility for human rights among personnel, has systems in place to oversee internal departments in the company, and has a mechanism for stakeholders to voice their grievances.
