Subject:           Proposed Dividend for Year 2017

 

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, or PTTEP, is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Company, at meeting No. 2/2561/436 on 26 January 2018, passed a resolution to propose the 2017 dividend payment of Baht 4.25 per share to the 2018 Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting for approval. The Company has made an interim dividend payment to the shareholders for the first-half-year operations of 2017 at the rate of Baht 1.50 per share (the entire amount was paid from unappropriated retained earnings under the Petroleum Income Tax Act), and still has to pay the remaining dividend at the rate of Baht 2.75 per share, which will also be paid from unappropriated retained earnings under the Petroleum Income Tax Act.

PTTEP has set 9 February 2018 as the Record Date on which shareholders have the right to attend the 2018 Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting (AGM) and to receive the dividend. The dividend payment of Baht 2.75 per share will be paid on 12 April 2018, after obtaining approval from the 2018 Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting.
