Since April 9, 2008, ordinary person shareholders who received a dividend from PTTEP that was paid out of the profit, which is subject to tax under the Petroleum Income tax Act, can no longer credit their dividend tax in accordance with the Board of taxation’s Ruling No 37/2551 dated April 9, 2008. However, the dividend paid out of the profit that is subject to tax under the Revenue Code (tax rate 30%) can still credited their dividend tax.

Our dividend policy is to maintain a dividend payout ratio of not less than 30% of the net profit after tax.
The total dividend payment for our 2009 operations is 2.68 Baht per share. We have made an interim dividend payment to the shareholders for the first-half-year operations at the rate of Baht 1.48 per share since August 28, 2009. The dividend for the second-half-year operations will be paid at the rate of Baht 1.20 per share on April 9, 2010.
