| Responsibility |
- Reservoir Definition and Original Hydrocarbon In-Place Evaluation.
- Supervise and participate in reservoir and pay/non pay definition.
- Supervise and participate in definition and updating of geological model e.g. structural framework and reservoir geometry.
- Supervise, coordinate and participate in the evaluation and updating of hydrocarbon in place, and reserves estimation.
- Recommend a proper tool and appropriate methodology/definition for hydrocarbon in-place evaluation.
- Compile and utilize special seismic-stratigraphic studies in order to provide/ improve sedimentary models, at reservoir scale, and provide any possible upsides (stratigraphic and structural traps) in S1 area.
- Supervise and participate in wells correlations and reservoirs characterization and updating of all geological and well database.
- Supervise, coordinate and participate in target definition and development well, appraisal well and study new potential location which requires integrating data from various kinds of maps, previous wells, seismic and production data and drilling constraints, preparing general and specific well proposal.
- Supervise and provide geological advice to the team during drilling and logging operation.
- Provide supervising, coaching and mentoring to Development Geologists, associate Geologists and Geophysicists.
Job End Result:
- To ensure consistency and reliability of Hydrocarbon in place figures.
- To define any remaining hydrocarbon potential around S1 development area and/or remaining existing out of S1 production license area.
- To ensure that all development wells / appraisal wells in a given location are properly designed for optimizing reserves and being cost efficient.
- To ensure that the well data are correctly and adequately acquired.
- To obtain the study results that can be used for development, appraisal and exploration wells planning purpose and for improvement well planning.
- To provide efficient well proposal, final well report and ensure reliable of well data interpretation.

| Qualifications |
Professional Knowledge & Experience and Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Geology with good knowledge in Geology and Geophysics
- 15 years experience in petroleum geology including 5 years in Seismic stratigraphic Interpretation, and in waterflood area
- Good knowledge of geology & geophysics and field development
- Good knowledge of geoscientific software application i.e., Petrel, Charisma,
- Good knowledge of log analysis and petrophysical evaluation.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
Additional Preferable Qualifications:
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge in development waterflood area
- Build static model
