| Responsibility |
- Management of the Process design team to ensure that project requirements are satisfied in terms of process design functionality, technical integrity, safety, operability and maintainability for all foreseeable operating modes
- Preparation of process design documentation for large and complex process systems including process simulations, H&MBs, PFDs, UFDs, data sheets P&IDs etc
- Definition of design standards and procedures to be adopted for the work
- Definition of software packages and other tools required to perform the work including any specialist software
- Understand limitations of software packages and tools and identify ways to overcome these limitations
- Independently analyse results from process work and identify solutions to improve design concepts and/or project value
- Interface with the economic analysis tools to select the optimum development scheme
- Technical assurance across all aspects of the design to ensure process requirements are properly understood and incorporated
- Planning and management of process activities to ensure cost and schedule targets are met
- Ensure that proper front end loading engineering is realised and ensure that the work satisfy’s the requirements of the PTTEP PREP process
- Prepare design reports as necessary to document work carried out to ensure that there is a clear audit trail of decisions made during the pre-FEED and FEED work

| Qualifications |
- University degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Engineering
- 15+ years experience in the design of offshore and onshore oil and gas production and processing facilities
- Thorough understanding of all elements of process design for offshore production systems including flow assurance, hydraulic modelling, process design and economic modelling
- Experience in design of LNG facilities is an advantage
- Apply creativity and judgement in generating concepts, making adaptations and modifications to individual designs to improve value or operability
- Adapt design methods to new situations and applications
- Develop work budgets and resource plans, and coordinate work to reach the required outcome
- Develop communication protocols to ensure work instructions and objectives are fully understood by all team members, including delivery schedule
- Ability to work as part of a multi-discipline team
- Presentations to major decision makers in PTTEP
