Safety, Security, Health and Environment Management System (SSHE MS) Oil and Gas Exploration and Production operations can possibly have significant negative impact on Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE). At PTTEP, we make every possible attempt to ensure that our operations do not result in harmful events to either people or the environment. This is the foundation of our SSHE MS, which stipulates that risk assessment of all activities must be carried out and adequate control systems be implemented. This effort also complies with the relevant legislation and regulations, and the OGP guidelines for the development and application of our SSHE MS.
The success of SSHE MS depends on the level of involvement of everyone from top management to onsite operators in a systematic and continuous focus on hazard recognition and mitigation. PTTEP believes that sound and effective SSHE MS and work practice standards will help the company to have full control of SSHE risks and, in the longer term, will help the company to ensure that effective accident prevention systems are in place.
