SSHE Policy

PTTEP has always had a strong commitment to Safety, Security, Health and Environment, as we believe that all SSHE related incidents are preventable. The Company’s SSHE Policy is comprehensively inclusive of all its employees and assets, contracted personnel, members of the public and the ecological environment.
The SSHE Policy provides the directions and set of principles regarding SSHE issues. At PTTEP SSHE Policy is initiated, developed, actively supported and endorsed by management at the highest level, and be made available to all interested parties.



POLICY ON SAFETY, SECURITY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT (SSHE)

PTTEP is committed to conducting our business in a manner that protects the safety, security and health of our employees, contractors, business partners, and the general public whilst sustaining the quality of the environment in which we operate.

With the continuous monitoring and improvement of its SSHE Management System, and employee involvement, PTTEP undertakes to:

• Comply with all applicable safety, security, health and environmental laws and regulations in all of our operations worldwide.
•  Ensure that all employees, contractors and business partners are aware that they are accountable for safety, security, health, and environmental performance while conducting their business activities.
• Recognise and eliminate potential hazards where possible, and safely manage those hazards that cannot be eliminated.
• Persistently endeavour to manage safety, security, health, and environmental risks, through emergency preparedness, contingency planning, response and recovery programmes, and the training of our personnel in behavioural-based safety, security, health, and environmental compliance.
• Strive to improve safety, security, health and environmental performance results with a management system designed to establish targets and assess performance.
• Encourage open communication throughout the organisation, within local communities where we operate, and with relevant applicable regulatory agencies on safety, security, health, and environmental issues.

PTTEP is committed to the proactive integration of this SSHE policy into our management system at all levels and takes responsibility for implementing these policy principles through the commitments and actions of each employee.
