POLICY ON SAFETY, SECURITY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT (SSHE)

PTTEP is committed to protecting the health and safety of everybody who plays a part in our operations and lives in the communities in which we operate while maintaining the security of our people and assets. Wherever we operate, we will conduct our business with respect to local and global environment to achieve objectives of sustainable development.

To meet these commitments, PTTEP have in place SSHE Management System (SSHE MS) that outlines our main principles and accountabilities to drive continual improvement.

PTTEP shall:

• Encourage a positive SSHE culture through visible leadership and commitment from management and employee involvement.
• Ensure that all employees and contractors accountable for their own safety and the safety of those around them.
• Meet or exceed compliance with all applicable SSHE laws and regulations, and international standards in all of our operations worldwide.
• Ensure all employees and contractors are trained and competent to meet SSHE MS requirements.
• Identify, eliminate or minimize, and manage SSHE risks to our employees, the environment and Assets.
• Develop and maintain active plan for emergency and crisis management.
• Prevent any incident recurrences through an efficient incident management system.
• Seek to achieve and maintain SSHE excellence by setting measurable SSHE objectives and targets and assessing performance through regular audits and reviews.
• Communicate SSHE issues in an open and transparent manner both internally, either from top-down or bottom-up, and externally.

The successful implementation of this policy requires total commitment from PTTEP employees and contractors at all levels.
