On that occasion, a fund worth 68 million baht was contributed to enable the Fine Arts Department to establish the Ancient Palace Learning Center, to put on show a miniature replica of the palace complex and Prasri Sanpet Temple, to prepare reconstruction display boards revealing how the ancient structures looked, to construct models, and to create animated cartoons for young audiences, all of which is intended to elaborate on historical stories and knowledge about the ancient sites.&amp;nbsp; PTTEP attaches great importance to this project and is actively involved with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources of the Royal Thai Navy, the Green Fields Association, IUCN, and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in organizing the &lt;strong&gt;PTTEP Exploration of Thai Marine Heritage Project&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp; The picture shows how a place would have looked in the past when it was complete. PTTEP sponsored The Fine Arts Department in producing these pictures. The ceremony was presided over by Mr.Anon Sirisaengtaksin, Chief Executive Officer, Mr.Wanchai Suthin, Sukhothai Governor, Mr.Kreangkai Sumpachalit, the Director General of the Fine Arts Department, and representatives from both UNESCO and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). A thousand of bicycles of the volunteers, press, officials, students and people from the local areas also participated in the event. &lt;/p&gt;

Participating in this event in the 1500-rai area for reforestation were 60 PTTEP employees as well as government officials and nearby communities. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, on 19 June 2008, PTTEP and the National Park, Wild Life and Plant Conservation Department had organized activities under the PTTEP Planting Trees in the People&amp;rsquo;s Hearts Project at Mae Wong National Park, Amphur Pang Silathong of Kampaengphet Province with PTTEP Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Anon Sirisaengtaksin and Major General Tanongsak Apirakyothin, Army Corps Commander presiding over the opening ceremony. &lt;span&gt;During 6 &amp;ndash; 10 May, the PTTEP Public Relations Department had organized youth camp &amp;ldquo;PTTEP, Cruising the Songkhla Lake with Thai Youth&amp;rdquo; in the Songkhla Lake Conservation Project, in which participated by 30 youngsters from Bangkok who had been selected from the essay competition under the topic &amp;ldquo;PTTEP, Cruising the Songkhla Lake&amp;rdquo; together with 30 Songkhla youngsters under the Songkhla Lake Conservation Project. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These camping activities aimed at raising awareness of the participating youth of the value of Songkhla Lake and to cooperatively seek ways and means to conserve Songkhla Lake with more abundance. Besides, the activities were aimed at strengthening good relationships among the youth from 2 regions in order to create learning process by ways of natural camping where they had to help each other.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
